Questions?

Here are some of the most common questions I get about working together.

If you don’t see your question listed or are ready to schedule a free consult, contact me.

  • I currently do not accept insurance. If you have insurance benefits, I can provide you with statement of your payments that you can submit for potential reimbursement. If you plan on using your out of network benefits, I strongly recommend that you contact your insurance company to verify these and how to submit claims.

  • The only way to know for sure is to come in for a session. Most people have a good sense of fit and style after two sessions.

  • I provide individual therapy to adults, ages 18-45.

  • Once you decide to see a therapist, you may still feel apprehensive. It is totally normal to feel anxious about this. A large part of therapy is the therapist-client relationship. I am there to guide you and help you learn ways to live the life that you want to live. I do not have all the answers to your concerns, but I am a great listener and will engage you in a thoughtful way. During the first session, you will tell your story and we will discuss your goals for treatment. This is where we begin establishing our relationship.

  • Sessions are 45-53 minutes. If you are interested in a longer session, please contact me for availability and pricing.

  • To begin, we will meet once a week. It is often best, in the beginning, to meet more frequently and to decrease sessions as you meet some of your goals.

  • I have an eclectic approach. It is very important that I meet my clients where they are at and with an approach tailored to them. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness.
